Born in the Dominican Republic to seafaring American parents, I'm a queer autistic author telling gothic fantasy stories that blend my love of mythology and folklore with macabre horror. Exploring themes surrounding mental health and chronic illness while portraying complex, morally ambiguous characters who consume almost as much caffeine as I do.
The Descendants of Helsing series was initially conceptualized in Australia, but I've continued drafting its saga since moving to the United States—where I now live in New England with my Aussie husband and daughter. Rare sightings have been documented that I emerge from my troglodyte cave to make an appearance on Instagram.
